Turbomachinery Systems Engineer
Design, develop, and test high-performance turbomachinery components, such as pumps and turbines, for orbital launch vehicle propulsion systems. You will collaborate with propulsion and fluid systems teams to optimize component performance, ensuring reliability and efficiency under extreme conditions. You will work cross-functionally to integrate turbomachinery into rocket systems, contributing to the success of launch programs. Your efforts would lead to the first-ever pump fed rocket engine in Canadian history.

Business Development Manager, Space & Defence
From Canada's first orbital launch vehicle, private spaceport, space systems/satellites development services and hypersonic aircraft, to rocket engines, design/testing/manufacturing services, mission critical software, and dual-use technologies for terrestrial and defence applications - the Business Development Manager at NordSpace will play a critical role on the team to commercialize these unique products.

Launch Program Director
The Launch Program Director should be an individual who has led a commercial aerospace vehicle development program, ideally related to orbital launch. You will lead NordSpace’s orbital launch vehicle and launch site development by translating business objectives into engineering requirements, managing lifecycle, budget, and schedule. Fostering an agile culture for rapid design-build-test cycles across subsystem teams, ensuring cohesive progress will be critical. You will drive technical reviews, hardware testing, and launch site operations while ensuring regulatory compliance while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to align strategy and execution. The Launch Program Director will also play a key role in championing initiatives to secure government, regulatory, and community support.

Space Systems Program Director
The Space Systems Program Director should be an individual who has led a commercial satellite development program. You will spearhead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for satellite systems, ensuring alignment with commercial and government/defence customer requirements and technological advancements. You will lead agile development cycles, rapidly prototyping and testing satellite hardware/software to meet mission-critical needs,  and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams to drive timely delivery of satellite systems, support go-to-market strategies, and act as the product expert in customer meetings and industry forums. Most importantly, you will lead the development of NordSpace's Phase 3 internal constellation program; a cornerstone of the company's long-term growth strategy.

Electrical Hardware & Avionics Engineer

As a GNC Engineer at NordSpace, you will be working on a variety of complex control systems problems, ranging from guiding our orbital rocket to its precise destination, to developing HIL systems to simulate missions on the ground.

Software Systems Engineer
As a part of NordSpace's goal to become an end-to-end space missions company, we are releasing a suite of independent space/defence focused software products to do everything from training edge-AI models with synthetic satellite imagery, to command and control for real-time launch operations. You will be tasked with developing mission critical software tools to support NordSpace's internal operations, and commercial efforts.

Composites Manufacturing Specialist
As a Composites Manufacturing Specialist at NordSpace, you will primarily be working on manufacturing composite pressure vessels (COPVs) using a variety of techniques and materials, at very large scales. Experience with robotic manufacturing, in particular automated fiber placement (AFP) will be a considerable advantage.
